ABOUT US
Romania Power Resources is the latest in a series of renewable energy companies founded or co-founded by Peter A. Gish, who has successfully led development or participated in over 5+ GWs of renewable energy projects in seven countries.
RPR is a sister company of Ukraine Power Resources, which Mr. Gish also co-founded with Geoff Berlin, and which has successfully developed two wind projects for 100 MWs and 158.6 MWs in Ukraine’s Odesa region.

Peter A. Gish is one of the world’s leading developers of wind power projects. As a co-founder and the CEO of Romania Power Resources, he sets the strategic vision, development plan and financing objectives for the company. Over the last 25+ years, Peter has successfully led development or participated in 5+ GW of renewable energy projects in 7 countries, including RPR’s sister company, Ukraine Power Resources, which has successfully developed wind projects for 100 MW and 158.6 MW in Ukraine’s Odesa region.
Peter is also a principal in Ortus Climate Mitigation LLC, where he is overseeing a 2 GW renewables portfolio in Italy and leading the development of a 10+ GW green hydrogen portfolio in Morocco. Peter previously developed the 120 MW Khalladi Wind Power Project in Tangiers while he was Managing Director of UPC North Africa Renewables, which was built with EBRD financing. Peter co-founded First Wind in the United States in 2001 and served on its Board of Directors until 2015 when it was sold to SunEdison. He co-founded UPC Renewables in 2007, which inter alia successfully developed several hundred MWs of wind power in Asia.
Peter received a Master’s Degree (honors) in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and an AB degree with high honors from Dartmouth College.

Geoff Berlin is an American entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the CEE region.
As a co-founder and the COO of Romania Power Resources, he has managed the development of the company’s first wind project in Romania’s Vaslui region. He has also co-founded and led the development of RPR’s sister company, Ukraine Power Resources, where he has successfully managed the on-the-ground development of wind projects for 100 MW and 158.6 MW in Ukraine’s Odesa region.
In Ukraine, Geoff has been a forerunner in developing numerous business activities since 1992: He founded and launched the Hertz rental car and vehicle leasing franchises, developed a program to modernize Ukraine’s cement plants, and led feasibility work on the Odesa-Brody oil pipeline.
Prior to launching Ukraine Power Resource’s wind activities in 2017, Geoff was the CEO of a venture in the United States that he launched in Atlanta to make homes energy-efficient, where he achieved average energy savings of 40% for hundreds of homeowners.
Geoff received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB degree with high honors from Dartmouth College.

Alex Mikhailov leads the on-the-ground development and civil works activities for Romania Power Resources wind projects. He has also participated in the development and civil works activities for RPR’s sister company, Ukraine Power Resources, which has successfully developed wind projects for 100 MW and 158.6 MW in Ukraine’s Odesa region.
Alex is also the CEO of Pride Group, a logistic, transport and construction company that was founded in 2003 in Odesa, Ukraine and which has activities in Romania the broader CEE region.
Alex received a Master’s degree from the Odesa State Marine University.

Robert Dunaevskiy manages the activities of Engineering Company Prof. Katzenbach and Partners GmbH in the CEE region.
Robert initiated Katzhenbach’s activities in the CEE region by launching the company’s activities in Ukraine in 2009. The company is specialized in geotechnical and structural engineering and has wide experience in the fields of structural and foundation design in severe soil conditions, deep excavations, slope stabilization, tunnelling, coastal engineering, environmental geotechnics and geothermal design. Since 2014, the company has been deeply involved in the design, optimization and peer reviewing of wind turbine foundations and general civil works for numerous wind projects.

Elizabeth Johansen manages Romania Power Resource’s commercial and environmental approaches for wind development projects.
With over eight years of experience in renewable energy and storage development, Elizabeth has played a key role in the development of utility-scale projects across numerous markets globally. For RPR’s sister company, Ukraine Power Resources, she has been involved in their two 100 MW and 158.6 MW wind projects in Ukraine’s Odesa region. She has also contributed to the development of renewables projects in Italy (2 GW pipeline), Morocco, the United States, and Tunisia.
Prior to her work in renewables, Elizabeth was a Risk Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate division of Deutsche Bank in New York. Elizabeth received a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Environmental Studies and Economics from Dartmouth College.

Laviniu Beze is the Company Administrator for Romania Power Resources’ first wind project, Rugaria Eolian.
Laviniu has been the owner and administrator of BBConsulting since 2005, a financial consultancy that is certified by the Financial Supervision Authority in Romania. He has also been the Chairman of the Capital Market Investors Association, where he has held positions from 2007 to 2023. He has been a Board member and administrator of numerous Romanian companies.
Laviniu holds a degree in Mathematics from West University of Timisoara and is licensed with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors London.

Delia Dragomir

Delia Dragomir is the managing partner and coordinator of Nowium’s legal consulting practice. In this capacity, she has been providing legal counsel to Romania Power Resources since its founding in 2023.
Delia coordinates the litigation and tax law department of Nowium’s legal team, where she acts as a senior adviser in complex international arbitration and litigation in a wide variety of sectors, in front of all major international arbitration institutions as well as ordinary courts, involving cross-border enforcement of arbitral awards, government contracts, treaty issues, etc. She focuses primarily on tax and administrative litigation and she has assisted large international clients in various industries, including automotive and retail, in litigation matters. Delia advises clients on a wide range of tax disputes, including issues related to cross-border tax structuring.
She holds a Master of Laws degree from West University of Timisoara, a Master’s degree from the Central European University, and a diploma from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

David leads the development of Romania Power Resource’s digital infrastructure and tools, enabling precise and efficient project execution.
David specializes in creating tools and processes for organizations tackling complex problems. An aerospace engineer by training, he combines engineering methodologies with organizational insight to develop digital tools that optimize operations. Beyond RPR, David has led the development of FileTree technology and contributed to renewable energy platforms across Italy, Morocco, the UK, and USA.
David holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College. Before focusing on organizational technologies, he developed experimental aircraft engines at Rolls-Royce, gaining valuable experience in tackling large, complex problems.
